First photos

Mum and Dad decided to take me to get my first photos done. Visiting Nhulunbuy District Hospital, we dropped by the radiology department to get a closer look at me.
The ultrasound guy was very welcoming and friendly, but we had to go back a few days later because I would not sit still. Mum and Dad finally got some great photos of me on their first wedding anniversary.

I am still enjoying stretching my legs, and I am a little bigger than other babies at this stage, must be all of the vegetables Mum keeps eating.

Well, Half way through now. See you all in 20 weeks!

Mum to Bub

Hi Mum here,

It's been a massive 3 months since you began to be, your Dad and I have been on a roller coaster of emotions mostly good ones. I have been sick since the stick showed you'd arrived but it is all worth it and I would happily do it again.

We saw you for the first time when you were 8 weeks imbedded and looked like a jelly bean, and yesterday we saw you for the second time. We were absolutely amazed by you, you'd grown and now we could see your arms, legs, head and body, most amazingly we could also see your heart beating; you were wriggling and kicking hands and feet everywhere, as I watched your wriggling Irish Jig a single tear feel down from the corner of my eye; You EXIST. Dad stood beside me and held my hand, we could barely take our eyes off you. We stole a glance at each other and the love that had come together to create you emerged again in that moment.

See you again soon, we're booked in on the 28th of September to see how you've grown and maybe just maybe you'll smile for the camera and we can introduce you to your grandparents, aunties and uncles.

We love you soo much already, our little wriggly one.....
XOXOX

I Exist

This is me, my very first mark on the world. 1:30am Monday 18 June 2012.

Mum was having trouble sleeping and was feeling sick. Dad had to work the next day so he was fast asleep, until Mum went and woke him up with some great news. I was here.

I exist.
